I'm not sure what the right forum for this is, but the new athletic clothes at the Gap smell like pot roast.
I have recently purchased some new clothing (two tops and three pairs of a pants) from two different locations. The first time I wore one of my new items, i noticed an interesting smell, and wondered if someone just had some interesting BO. I identified the smell, which, clearly, was pot roast. Then identified the source, which, clearly, was me. Not knowing why exactly i smelled like pot roast, i migrated slowly to the back of my kickboxing class (as sweating tends to intensify smell) in shame.
Then. Two weeks later.
Having forgotten all about the potroast incident, and dressed in a different Gap outfit (from a different store), I arrived at my Zumba class. I started to warm up, and I realized that I smelled, once again, like Sunday Dinner.
The following day, I had a friend/coworker/gym-mate smell an (unworn) article of Gap fitness clothing. She confirmed: chuck roast, carrots, Lipton Onion Soup mix.
So, take it for what you will. High-quality fibers, flattering fits, perhaps not vegetarian-friendly.
Also, in case this has made you hungry for pot roast: a recipe.
