Ode To Wikipedia

I searched for "Snooze Button" and was redirected to "Alarm Clock." There is a section on Cell Phone Alarms in the article. Which i, along with many of my close friends, use in lieu of an actual alarm clock (which I do have. it is on my nightstand. but for whatever reason, i do prefer my Motorola Razr. Probably because of the creative spelling of Razr and boring spelling of Alarm Clock).

If we had to wait for a dictionary to come out, or vetting of information between multiple appropriate sources, i would have to wait much longer for some kind of white paper on the changing technology and phasing out of traditional conveniences. Wikipedia is updated in real time. Just like a real brain.

Love you, W.

Research

Items i will be researching this evening*:

Prospecting. We watched There Will Be Blood today and i require more background.

Toilet Paper. SOMEONE had to say 'maybe we can use something besides leaves' and someone else, much later, i'm guessing, suggested the genius notion of lots of teeny tiny pieces of paper, perforated, on a roll. Maybe it was Mr. Whipple?

Perforation. Which also had to be invented. How'd that happen...?

Mustaches. For a very long time, people just grew their hair until it fell off. I believe, due to something related to Alexander the Great, they decided long hair was a liability in battle. Did cutting hair and shaving happen simultaneously?

*A majority of my 'research' is done on Wikipedia, which i do know should not be relied upon if accuracy is of utmost concern. If cocktail party and blog fodder are the ultimate goal, however, Wikipedia has proven to be an excellent source.
